Collagen fibers in your breast tissue can now be remodeled and tightened to lift your breast using energy-based treatments. The energy causes very controlled and localized heating of the breasts underneath the skin surface causing the fibers to contract and lift. It works in a way similar to using heat for shrink-wrapping.

First, you are given medication to help you relax and your breasts are numbed using a special numbing solution. Once you are numb, a small probe is inserted underneath the surface of your breasts to deliver the energy in a very controlled fashion. The procedure is performed in an office-based suite and normally takes 1-2 hours.

Most patients can return to work within 2 days unless their job is strenuous or requires heavier lifting. You should avoid heavy lifting or strenuous activity for 4-6 weeks.
